Ashley Keith - author
Ashley Michael Keith is a qualified radio engineer and an ex-member of the New Zealand Police, having been employed as a constable on special duties within the service.
He is an expert in electronic surveillance techniques and applications.
As a serving member of Police he was attached to the Armed Offenders Squad.
He has spoken on insurance fraud throughout New Zealand and Australia and is the past lecturer at the Sydney TAFE college lecturing on private investigation practice, which is mandatory for the licensing of private investigators in the Australian state of NSW.
In this role he also prepared examinations for graduation, a pass, which at that time was a requirement for licensing. His original book The Private Investigators Handbook’ was accepted as the bible’ for the training of investigators throughout Australia.
His latest publication The Investigators Guide’ now incorporates those original contents and adds substantially to the contents of that publication.
He was appointed to the federally funded steering committee for the establishment of competency standards for investigators throughout Australia.
He has held senior positions within the industry and for a time he was the Chief Investigator for the largest investigation company in Australasia.
He is a well known and respected private investigator with considerable street experience’ holding licences in the Australian states of NSW and Queensland.
He currently operates his own consultancy business in the investigation industry in Australia with branches and affiliations in various states.
He has recently extended his operations to the United Kingdom and the United States of America in conjunction with his eldest son who is well known for patent protection and counterfeiting investigations throughout Europe.
